My favorite thing about raw food is the deserts.
They are innovative, healthy, very rich and delicious.
The deserts in the picture are from Ani Phyo and Matthew Kenny.

If the thought of traveling to India scares you, then take courage from this video of a supermarket in downtown Colaba.
Colaba happens to be one of the main tourist areas of the city. It is very much like any other supermarket around the globe and sells all things Indian and Western.
Take your own peppermint and chamomile tea from home though, as they are very expensive in Mumbai and certainly not as fresh.
I got cut off from filming as they got nervous when they saw me walking around with a video camera. (The area is right in the heart of the Mumbai bombings that happened a few years ago.)
During the cooking class in Bankok Mai took us to visit the lady that makes her spring roll paper. She happened to be on the job as you can see from the video.
Mini quiche – cherry tomato, feta and pesto
I made this recipe up when I fell in love with the tiny tart cases I found in Robins www.robinskitchen.com.au/
I adapted my pastry recipe to fit the tiny case and happened to have some cherry tomatoes in the fridge as well as some fresh pesto and feta cheese.
I cut the cherry tomatoes in half put them in a bowl, chopped up some tiny pieces of feta and mixed the fresh pesto through it.
Once the pastry had been cooked for about 15 mins in the tiny tart case, I took it out of the oven, filled it with the cherry tomato mixture (about 8 cherry tomatoes in all) and poured the organic free range beaten egg in. I only needed one egg for 2 tart cases.
I baked them in a moderate oven for around half an hour.
They were a huge hit with my teenager.
